Once Upon a Time
In Once Upon a Time, a story by Nadine Gordimer she tells a story about she growing up in a enclosed community and the time where white people were living in a gated community and colored people had to live outside of the gated community. She describes how the character was scared while there were riots outside of the gated community. In the story, there was a mother and father who had a little boy which the parents loved him very much. They had a car, house, and a pool and the pool was fenced so that the animals and the boy don't fall in the pool. The people in the riot were mad they got in the gated community and started to break into houses. In the suburb there many many burglaries while the rioters got in and stole what they can.
